Who is The Masked Merchant
The Masked Merchant has always been an internet figure for Mark. He created it back in April of 2002 with the original site TheMaskedMerchant.com. After that there have been many changes. What started out as just Camping Gear and Outdoor website has grown into a complete e-commerce consulting group.
A little history about Mark: Joined the USAF in July 1976 as a Security Police Law Enforcement Specialist with tours at RAF Upper Heyford England and Moody Air Force Base Georgia. As a Security Policeman was member of the USAF Emergency Services Team where assigned as a sniper and hostage negotiator. Qualified and competed in the TAC Security Police Marksman competition and was the day desk sergeant for Camp Liberty Florida during the Cuban Refugee crisis of 1980.
Retrained in September 1980 as a C-130 Loadmaster and achieved Flight Instructor and Flight Examiner status. Duties included loading Air Force Aircraft and directing Air Drop of equipment, supplies and personnel. Participated in Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada, Operation Just Cause in Panama, Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, Operation Deep Freeze Mid Winter Airdrop over Antarctica, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. On the humanitarian side flew support and relief missions to Moscow and Inchevski Russia in support of the INF Treaty and the first NATO aircraft into Bucharest Romania after the execution of Dictator Nicolae Ceausecu.
Tours at McChord AFB, Washington, 3 Tours at Little Rock AFB Arkansas, Rhein Main Air Base Germany, US Embassy Kuwait as liaison to the Kuwait Air Force teaching Loadmaster classes to Kuwaiti Aircrews.
After retirement went to the US Marshals Service, Court Security Program as a CSO for the Federal Court of the Eastern District of Arkansas. Then just 4 1/2 years later became a SAP ABAP programmer for the University of Arkansas for Medical Science.
TheMaskedMerchant.com grew and there was a niche in the Police Bike industry. 4Bike-Police.com was created from the growth and has emerged as a leader in online sales of Police Bikes and Duty Gear. With my background in Police and Military and a Partner who is an active Little Rock Police officer and SWAT member we have brought products to our site that are needed for Police. Working closely with METT-T of Little Rock we have the ability to get absolutely everything that a department needs to equip their force. All from Police for Police.
